Ruby & Begonia, an embarrassment of riches, was established by Jo Packham and her daughter, Sara Toliver, on September 14, 2001 in Ogden, Utah. Ruby & Begonia is an establishment whose approach to retailing is as innovative, as conscious of the limitations of time and money, and as truly enjoyable as any imagination can create. Ruby & Begonia was the recipient of back-to-back Retailer Excellence Awards sponsored by Gifts & Decorative Accessories magazine. Ruby & Begonia was honored with the 2002 Gold Award for Excellence in Visual Merchandising and was again honored in 2003, this time receiving the Gold Award for Excellence in Community Service. Currently owned and operated by Jo Packham, Ruby & Begonia is now not only a source for buying and giving enjoyment but one where unusual and innovative supplies for the hand-made arts can be requested and purchased. The inventory of Ruby & Begonia is sometimes vintage, sometimes handcrafted by the country’s finest artisans and everything in between; but whichever it is, each item is unique, extraordinary, and appeals to the heart and soul of each who enters.
